Create your account in no time

Getting started with Tapcoat is completely self-service via tapcoat.com. There is no manual onboarding process by the Tapcoat team — you have full access to your dashboard from the very first moment and can get started right away.

Step 1 — Start signing up

Open tapcoat.com and click “Sign up” in the top right corner. You’ll be taken to the sign-up page. Enter the following required details there:

  • Company name
  • Your email address
  • A secure password

The email address you sign up with automatically becomes the Admin account — the person with the highest permissions in the system. So choose an email address you control long term and that isn’t tied to one person if several people need access.

Step 2 — Confirm your email address

After you submit the sign-up form, you’ll receive a confirmation email at the address you entered. Click the confirmation link in it. Only then is your account fully active and you can log in.

Tip: Don’t see the confirmation email? Check your spam folder. If the email doesn’t show up there either, wait a few minutes and check again. If problems persist, contact support@tapcoat.com.

Step 3 — Get started right away with the Free plan

Once confirmed, you have instant access to all features of the Free plan. You can immediately:

  • Create and configure a cloakroom
  • Create your first event
  • Test the entire check-in process
  • Get familiar with the app

No credit card, no waiting time, no activation by the Tapcoat team required. The Free plan is free forever and has no time limit.

When does an upgrade make sense?

The Free plan lets you run a single cloakroom without your own branding. As soon as you need more, you switch to a paid plan. This makes sense, for example, if you:

  • Want to run more than one cloakroom at the same time
  • Want to use your own branding on wallet passes and landing pages
  • Need payment features for cloakrooms that charge a fee
  • Want to add multiple staff members with different roles
  • Need real-time reporting and full dashboard features

You switch plans directly in the dashboard under “Settings” → “Plan & billing”. Enter your credit card details there — the switch takes effect immediately, without interrupting ongoing operations.
